Annual Dinner GMA holds an Annual Meeting each year in order to vote on important business, install newly elected officers, and to enjoy a night of entertainment. Circle of Excellence The Circle of Excellence Awards Program is produced by GMA as an opportunity for employers to recognize their employees. The program was started in 1993. Since then, over 225 employees have joined the Circle of Excellence as sales or customer service nominees. Nominees are recognized for their achievements, and each year, a "Best of the Best" recipient is selected in each category by an independent panel of judges. The nominees and Best of the Best recipients enjoy the spotlight in local media outlets. Community Involvement Bringing people and businesses together has always been one of GMA’s goals. Throughout GMA’s 100-year history, GMA has supported community initiatives. Your membership dollars help to provide funding, volunteers, and promotional assistance to various community activities. GMA regularly supports Fun Fourth, Festival of Lights, Wyndham Championship, DECA, and many other projects. Crime Prevention Seminars GMA presents members with timely programs covering various crime prevention issues such as internal theft, identity fraud, and terrorism in the workplace. Local law enforcement officials and crime prevention experts keep you up to date on important ways to keep your business and your employees safe. These programs are free to GMA members.
